Frequently Asked Questions (for proxy owners/webmasters)

1. Proxy submission guidelines:
   
   1. Only submit a web proxy site, not sites that are only part or false proxy (spam).
   2. Do not submit proxy top site, proxy template site, proxy blog or such. Only web proxy is allowed. If you wish to do a link exchange use the contact form.
   3. Do not submit any free domains (.tk, .co.cc, etc.) they will not be accepted.
   4. Do not submit proxies in sub domains or folders/sub directories, i.e. proxy.freehost.com, myproxy.webhost.com, or example.com/glype etc.
   5. Do not submit broken/dead proxy, regular checks are made automatically.
   6. Do not submit redirected domains, they will not be accepted.
   7. Do not submit 'spammy' proxies - no pop-ups/unders or full page ads on the home page, and no hidden url boxes. Check they work properly with Internet Explorer too.
   8. Do not submit proxies using unsuitable (shared) hosting i.e. GoDaddy, Hostgator etc.
   9. Only submit proxy sites that are family friendly/work safe i.e. no adult ads or content. These proxies are used by people at work and school so inappropriate content is unacceptable.
   10. SSL Proxies should be entered as https://... and the icon will be added afterwards.


2. Backlink
   A backlink is required only for higher priority and longer duration listings.
   Our valid backlink formats are (exactly) (Opens in new window + mouseover text)

   If you click in a box above it'll auto highlight and you can just right click > 'copy' and paste into your proxy.
   


3. Payment
   We accept PayPal as payment method. Usually, payment is processed within 24 hours.
   Payment is expected max 24 hours after your submission. There will be no refund if your link is removed permanently by our crawl checking system (see crawl checking section). There is currently a 7 day 'grace' period, this will give you time to fix any errors or problems. After you have ordered a paid plan, payment is expected within 24 hours max after form submission. Otherwise, we will remove your submission and you will have to submit again.
   A full refund will be given if, for some reason, your proxy is not accepted.



4. Proxy crawl checking
   We regularly crawl all proxies which are listed in our website to :
   1. Check whether the proxy is dead or not. Dead proxy will be temporarily deleted from our list.
   2. Check backlink (if required). Proxy with invalid backlink will be temporarily deleted from our list.
   Temporarily removed proxies can be restored back to the list automatically. See restoration crawl. If a proxy is temporarily deleted, you can not submit the same proxy again because it is considered exists but hidden. These checks are carried out automatically via cron jobs.



5. Proxy restoration crawl
   We regularly crawl all temporarily deleted proxies. If the problem has been resolved (the proxy is alive or the backlink is valid), your proxy will be put on the list again. If a proxy is temporarily deleted for a long time (about one week), we will remove it permanently and you can submit the same proxy again.



6. Temporarily deleted proxies
   We list temporarily deleted proxies here with the deletion reason. Most commonly it is because the proxy is 'unavailable', i.e. host failure or domain expiry for instance (but if I can't see it, it's not there). Another common reason is rejection for not conforming to the terms, i.e. blatant disregard for requirements or re-directed somewhere else. If these errors are fixed and/or requirements are met then the proxy will be re-instated after the checks have been passed.

8. Abuse
   Abuse of our website and service will not be tolerated in any form whatsoever. This includes, but is not limited to, spam submissions (sites that are not web proxies), inappropriate websites (i.e. not family friendly or worksafe), sites that contain malware, spyware, viruses or any illegal content, abusive emails, email spam, or any other form of 'bad behaviour' (I will be the sole judge and arbiter), it will lead to a permanent ban. We operate a zero tolerance policy on abuse, this is solely for the benefit of our many genuine users.
